This conference was organized by the Federation of West Thracian Turks in Europe and was held in Bonn, Germany. The organizers courteously extended an invitation to the RAINBOW party. RAINBOW accepted the invitation within its political framework of working together with all organizations and individuals who respect the principles of the RAINBOW party. This acceptance can also be regarded as a sign of solidarity between the Turkish and Macedonian national minorities living in Greece. At the conference the RAINBOW party was represented by Pavlos Voskopoulos.

Participants included Michael Ackermann, Ph.D., Philosophical University of Hamburg and Historian Michael Stephen, former representative of the British parliament who is a lawyer and expert on international relations, specifically Greco-Turkish relations, and also Dr. Ibram Onsunoglu, doctor of neurology and the representative of the Turkish Minority in Greece.

Mr. Voskopoulos's presentation dealt with the "Past, Present and Future of the Macedonian National Minority in Greece." After the presentation the participants and guests were able to raise questions. Mr. Voskopoulos was very grateful to be able to participate in this conference.

The conference was very successful and received media coverage from Mr. Asimakopoulos of the Greek radio program Deutshe Velle, as well as from the Macedonian radio program. It also received coverage from representatives of the Greek television program in Germany.
