A Delegation From EFA-Rainbow Visited Australia

On 11-25 November 2004, delegation of the Political Secretariat of the European Free Alliance - Rainbow visited Australia. The purpose of the visit was to raise awareness of the plight of the ethnic Macedonian minority in Greece.
A number of important meetings took place with government officials, media outlets and various Macedonian community organizations. Below is list of the more important meetings/events that took place.
* Meeting with Mr Ian WILCOCK, State Director, Victoria, Department of Foreign affairs and Trade, Commonwealth of Australia.
* Meeting with a Parliamentary delegation from the Legislative Assembly of the Parliament of New South Wales led by Noreen HAY MLA, Member for Wollongong.
* Meeting with Michael KEENAN MP, Member for Stirling (Western Australia).
* Separate meetings with Greek consuls-general: Mr Eleftherios KOUVARITAKIS (Melbourne), Mr Ioannis RAPTAKIS (Sydney), Mr Theodoros
